Most of the mills-museums are open from 10 am to 5 PM. It is easy to get to the open-air Museum from Amsterdam by bus, train, bike or car. In the first case, look for bus 391, which will depart from the Central station every hour, direction Zaanse Schans, on the way 40 minutes.
