Itinerary:

Day 1: Nairobi to Samburu National Reserve

In the afternoon, enjoy your first game drive, where you’ll have the chance to spot Samburu’s unique species like the Grevy’s zebra, Somali ostrich, and reticulated giraffe. Return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.

Day 2: Full Day in Samburu

Spend the day exploring the wonders of Samburu National Reserve. Start with an early morning game drive, when wildlife is most active. After breakfast, relax at the lodge before heading out for a mid-morning drive. In the afternoon, venture out again to seek out elephants, lions, and a variety of birdlife. End your day with a sundowner in the wild, returning to Samburu Sopa Lodge for a delicious dinner.

Day 3: Samburu to Lake Nakuru National Park

After breakfast, depart Samburu and head south to Lake Nakuru National Park, arriving at Tahphe Guest House in time for lunch.
